Giving back is easy with your Amazon account
If you have not already signed up for AmazonSmile, please follow the directions below to help raise money for St. Lawrence!! AmazonSmile.com will contribute 0.5% of all eligible purchases to St. Lawrence School so make sure “St. Lawrence Catholic Church Lawrenceburg” is listed under the search box at their website. If it’s not listed, you are not registered correctly. This money will add up quickly!
Steps to Setup Fundraiser:- Sign onto an existing/ create account at www.amazon.com.
- Type “amazon smile account” into web browser.
- AmazonSmile – You shop, Amazon gives. Shows up, then click on “About AmazonSmile” (in blue lettering)
- On this page, (This page has all the details about the program) the name listed on the account will be in the upper right hand corner. “Hello, Robert Detzel.” And below your name is a yellow rectangle box stating “Get Started” which you need to click.
- “Select a charitable organization to get started” is the heading on the page. Go to the long rectangle box where it states “Charity name or location”.
- Type/ copy and paste “St. Lawrence Catholic Church Lawrenceburg” (no quotation marks included) and click the search box on the far right hand side of the long rectangle box. Our church will show up and make sure it states its location is Lawrenceburg, IN in gray letters on the right. (Make sure it’s NOT Lawrence, IN because that is tied to another charity.) Click the yellow “Select” rectangle on the right hand side.
- Lastly, click in the square box confirming “Yes, I understand that I must always start at smile.amazon.com to support St Lawrence Catholic Church Lawrenceburg Inc.”
If you already have an AmazonSmile Charitable Organization, here’s steps to change to “St Lawrence Catholic Church Lawrenceburg”:- Sign in to smile.amazon.com on your desktop or mobile phone browser.
- From your desktop, go to Your Account from the navigation at the top of any page, and then select the option to Change your Charity. Or, from your mobile browser, select Change your Charity from the options at the bottom of the page.
- Select a new charitable organization to support.
