MISSION

 

St. Lawrence School Commission would like to introduce you to our members. The Commission's Mission is to recognize the importance of our children to our Parish and strive to establish a safe environment for quality Catholic education which emphasizes academic and spiritual growth of the whole child as an individual, as well as, a member of a greater community.

 

To assist in accomplishing this mission, the Commission is composed of members with diverse backgrounds ranging from parents and grandparents of students in first through eighth grades and parishioners and non-parishioners.  We also have members with various skills such as administration, legal, financial, computer, and craft trades. As you can see, we have a wide variety of talents to best serve you in the upcoming year.

 

The Commission meets monthly and our meetings are open to the public. Anyone is welcome to speak at our meetings by simply requesting to be placed on the agenda a week prior to the meeting via the school office. Our meeting dates are posted in the Church Bulletin.

We encourage you to contact us if an issue or question should arise during the year. In addition to hearing from you, you will be hearing from us throughout the year to update you on school-related issues as well as request your help on various events. We are looking forward to the many challenges and opportunities that await us.
