St. Lawrence School is a Catholic elementary day school in the community of Lawrenceburg, Indiana. A non-profit institution, St. Lawrence considers applicants in Kindergarten through Grade 8. Applicants are accepted who are able to benefit from the course of studies being pursued, and who display appropriate conduct. Students are accepted without regard to race, color, national origin, and where space allows, creed.
St. Lawrence School admits students in the following priority order:
¨ Children from families who are registered and actively participating for at least six months in St. Lawrence Church.
¨ Children from families, who have changed residence and were active, registered participants in another Catholic parish.
¨ Children from families who have been registered in St. Lawrence Church but not actively participating for at least six months and children from Catholic families outside the parish.
¨ Children from non-Catholic families.

REGISTRATION FORM
New Student Registration Forms are available in the school office.
A Birth Certificate and Baptismal Record must be presented at the time of registration, if the child was not baptized in St. Lawrence Parish.
Records from the applicant's previous school will be utilized as part of the evaluation process. Previous principals and/ or teachers will be contacted if it is determined that such sources would contribute materially to an understanding of the applicant's ability to function within our program. In all cases, the decision will be made by the principal and such additional staff as the principal deems necessary to assure the best interests of the child and the school be served.
MEDICAL RECORDS
Before a child may attend St. Lawrence School, he/she must submit dental and medical records and meet the following vaccination requirements.
According to state law, immunization records must be on file for each child by the first day of school. Students will not be permitted to attend school after that time until required immunization records are submitted.
REQUIRED IMMUNIZATIONS
Every child residing in Indiana shall be immunized against:
1. Diphtheria 2. Pertussis (whooping cough) 3. Tetanus 4. Measles 5. Rubella 6. Poliomyelitis 7. Mumps
Every child residing in Indiana who enters kindergarten or grade 1 shall be immunized against: Hepatitis B and Chicken pox.
The State Department of Health may expand or otherwise modify the list of communicable diseases that require documentation of immunity as medical information becomes available that would warrant the expansion or modification in the interest of public health.
