Grandparents Day is an annual event at St. Lawrence School.  This is a special day for students and their grandparents or special person to enjoy lunch and visit classrooms.

 

PTO would like to invite all students to ask their grandparents or a special person to join them for lunch on Friday, October 10, 2008.  We start the day by celebrating Mass at 10:00 AM.  Grandparents may join their grandchildren for Mass or just join them for the lunch that will follow.

 

If you will be attending Mass, your grandchild will meet you at 9:45 AM at the bottom of the church steps outside.  Please do NOT go into church until your grandchild has met you.  If raining, your grandchildren will meet you in the school gymnasium.  With parent permission, students may leave after lunch with their grandparents or special person.

 

Due to the large number of students/grandparents/special guests, please be aware that others will also need to use the limited table space.

 

This year the lunch menu includes Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Green Beans, Corn, Fruit, Rolls and Homemade Desserts.  Drink selection includes Milk, Water, Coffee and Lemonade.

The lunch order form/permission slip were sent home with the students.  These forms must be completed and returned, with payment, by October 3, 2008.  All students need to return an order form regardless of whether or not they have a grandparent or special person visiting with them on that day.
